Three “Plus” features
1. Labor-saving process & Business efficiency
ID Cut function which is provided with our products makes labor-saving process and efficient printing & cutting operations possible
A new function “ID Cut function” that enables continuous cutting operation to be performed automatically is adopted.
The “ID Cut function” is the function that automatically scans printed-out register marks with ID, then reads and cuts cut data. While any operators scanned register marks and specified cut data for each cutting job in the past, use of the “ID Cut” function is now made possible to perform unmanned and continuous cutting operations, and operators can proceed with another operation simultaneously when the machine is performing the cutting operation.
Support for Ethernet connection implements free and efficient work environment
To the conventional connection method to PC for RIP, Ethernet connection has newly been added.
Unlike the conventional USB connection, connection via Ethernet can be established via network cable, and thus connection to a printer from any PC within network is now available.
More free and efficient work environment can be put in place, by editing data using any PC in your office, then sending print data directly to a printer in your work operation room, for example.
2. ECO feature for green protection
Adoption of environmental-friendly ink cartridge
Changing the ink cartridge of SS21 ink to 600ml “Eco-cartridge” from 440ml cartridge can decrease the frequency of replacing ink.
Increase in ink amount reduces time and effort to replace an ink cartridge with a new one, bringing about more efficient and economical results.
The “Mimaki Eco-cartridge” is a reusable environmental-friendly designed ink cartridge which customers can replace a 600ml ink pack by themselves.
600ml “Eco-cartridge”
As there has been increased interest in “environmental value” at industrial sites in recent years, we also promote more environmental-friendly product development under such a concept as “Mimaki Green Technology”.
In the signage market, UCJV300 uses our UV curable ink, released in 2017, which hardly generates VOCs (*) and are environmentally friendly. “CJV300 Plus Series”, which are equipped with environmental-friendly solvent ink, also adopt the environmental-friendly cartridge system that can decrease usage quantity of plastic materials, as our approach to less environmental impact.

3. Newly added functions to realize higher image quality and stability
“MAPS4”, a new image quality control technology, to support Ethernet connection
Generally, swath boundaries are straight lines. Therefore, a slight misalignment between boundaries causes banding or uneven color printing. MAPS4 (Mimaki Advanced Pass System 4) reduces banding and uneven color printing with blurred boundaries similar to gradation printing.
MAPS ON
Banding and uneven color printing are reduced by scattering swath boundaries. Beautiful print image is obtained.
MAPS OFF
Bandings appear on swath boundaries. Print quality is remarkably degraded because banding is recognizable on each boundary.
Adoption of newly designed winding mechanism
– “End-face guide” for maximum loadable media in weight (45kg) comes equipped with as standard –
Through renewal of the older winding mechanism, stability of media conveyance has been improved, and thus the maximum loadable media weight has changed from 40kg to 45kg.
Also, it is provided with such a function as standard that prevents edge-surface meandering when any media are wound up, realizing stable and high-quality winding.
Mimaki’s original and patented technology “3-way intelligent heater”
When the temperature of the media is not optimized, the perfect shape and size of droplets are not appropriately adhered onto the media.
While temperature is controlled with Mimaki’s original technology, heat is applied to media, and ink droplets are fixed in position with excellent color development and high-quality image being maintained. It achieves both stable color development and easy handling after output.

- Pre-heater: Heats media to optimum temperature before printing
- Print heater: Dries ink droplets placed on media prior to ink bleeding, improving color development
- Post-heater: Accelerates ink drying, realizing a stable winding
- Top blower: Provides air blow to support ink drying
Silver ink creates high value-added print products
“Shiny silver ink” exceeds expectations
SS21 silver ink’s brightness is 1.67 times greater than that of conventional silver inks.(*)
Exceptional brightness means high value-added printing and mirror effect results that exceed expectations.

Orange and light black inks ensure faithful color representation
Orange ink
By using the SS21 orange ink as a process color, 94.8% of the PANTONE color chart is covered with approximate colors. Thanks to a wider gamut with the orange ink, food freshness can be simulated, and corporate colors can be faithfully represented.
Light black ink
SS21 light black ink and superior gray-balance control produce accurate grayscale printing without unexpected color shifts. Smooth and non-grainy skin tones and grayscale gradation are delivered.
Versatile print and cut functions
This single unit of CJV300 Plus alone enables labels, stickers, car lapping films or the like to be created.
Continuous register mark detection
The CJV300 Plus automatically detects all register marks set by the RasterLink6Plus on the media, and cuts contour lines precisely by utilizing simultaneous automatic calibration.
Over-cut and corner-cut functions
The over-cut function ensures sharply cut edges with no residues by making a cross cut at the start and end positions of the contour cutting. The corner-cut function ensures sharply cut edges by making cross cuts at each corner.
Segment correct functions
This function detects intermediate register marks and enables four-point corrections for each segment to ensure accurate contour cutting over longer-length prints, even if the image is distorted.
Cut-and-print function
This function prevents common problems, such as film separation and faulty cut results, by cutting the media before printing.
